The original acrylic painting - Red Centre - has been painted using primary colours with white as an additional highlight. I love creating this style of painting, the colour is almost more important than the shapes but they create a whole impression which I can just look at all the time. Each one is different, I always know roughly what my plan is but then I start and things always have a habit of changing but always for the better to me.

Once the painting is finished and had an opportunity to completely dry, I will then use two coats of Galeria Sating Varnish which is designed to be used with acrylics, this adds layers of protection. Once everything is dry the acrylic painting is framed in a simple grey frame that does not contain glass as this can be detrimental to both acrylic and oil paintings
