K'Pow is an original abstract painting in acrylic on a canvas board. This painting is very angular and has been painted in primary colours it brings to mind the comics that my children used to read, some of the coloured shapes have been decorated which I feel brings out the red. I suffer from very disobedient hands which have their own ideas about what they will and will not do, but they never quite beat me, it does though sometimes cause some unusual effects.

Once the picture was finished and allowed to completely dry it was sealed with two coats of varnish, which provides a protective layer. As I couldn't get a frame to fit this canvas I first mounted the painting before placing it in the frame. All the frames that I am using are made in the UK.
