Colourful Bricks is an original painting in acrylic on a canvas board. I started off with plans for something a little different, but the painting had other ideas and led me to this finished result which I am very happy with. I suffer from very disobedient hands which have their own ideas about what they will and will not do, but they never quite beat me, it does though sometimes cause some unusual effects.

Once the picture was finished and allowed to completely dry it was sealed with two coats of varnish, which provides a protective layer. Finally the painting was placed in a frame with the glass removed. The frames are made in the UK.
