So here we are at the beginning of May, coming out of lockdown and a sense of life, getting back to some routine. I have one hectic month ahead, and it starts today.
For those of you who have visited my website before, you will notice that everything has changed and not just a little bit; it is the reason why I haven't posted much in the last month, just been way too busy with other jobs and waiting for my new website to be ready for use. And here it is, a bright shiny new site, much more like I was aiming for at the beginning, but this is a second beginning for me, now to keep up the momentum.
I have lots of things that I want to show and share with you in the coming days and weeks.
This Saturday, I will be doing my first village market of the year; it seems so long ago that I was last getting my stock together and packed up ready to go to market; five months can seem like an eternity when you are so restricted. The table in the image above looks full but believe me; I have even more to fit on there now; perhaps I will have to steal a little bit of my mum's table because she will be doing her thing.
The first village market out of the blocks is Dunkeswell Farmers Market on the 8th of May, held in Throgmorton Memorial Hall starting at 9.00 am and finishing at noon, and there is plenty of free parking.
In the week following, I will be returning to home territory, back to Wellington for the Artisan Craft & Gift Market on the 15th of May, which is currently held in the Scout Hall in Wellington from 9.30 to 12.30, where I will be with my friends and fellow crafters. This is followed a week later on the 24th of May in the Popup Shop in Wellington, where we will be for one week.
I love making and creating things and am happy working quietly on my own, but I have missed the buzz of people talking and sharing what I have made with them. Nothing can quite beat that feeling.
Hopefully, I will see some of you at the various locations I will be this month.
